Danielle Phelan - About Me
Welcome!
I grew up in Glastonbury, Connecticut and still live there with my family. I have a wonderful husband and two great children. My son goes to the University of Rhode Island and my daughter goes to Roger Williams University. We have a dog called Fenway and two cats, Jumper and Sissy.
I enjoy watching Red Sox's games and funny movies with my family and friends. I also enjoy watching my children at sporting events and other activities. In the summer, I love to read a good book on the beach.
I went to college at Central Connecticut State University and received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a focus in math and science. I then went to the University of Connecticut and received my Master's Degree in Educational Psychology with a focus on gifted and talented students. I am certified in the state of Connecticut to teach Elementary Education.
I have worked at Saint James School for many years. I began as a substitute teacher for all the grades. I also worked part time in the pre k classroom, as a long term substitue in fourth grade and as the school librarian. I am very excited to work in the third grade classroom again this year!
