Jeanne Jones - About Me


 I am very excited to be teaching at St. James School this year!  This will be my 22nd year teaching in the Archdiocese of Hartford, having previously taught at St. Augustine School in Hartford and St. Thomas the Apostle in West Hartford.  I feel privileged to be a Catholic Educator and blessed to be a member of the St. James Community.
 
I received my elementary education certification from Central Connecticut State University.  I am certified to teach Pre K-8th grades.  Over the years, I have taught grades 4-8.
 
I live in West Hartford.  I attended St. Thomas the Apostle School through 8th grade.  I have been a communicant of St. Brigid Parish for 30 years.   
 
I come from a large family and enjoy spending time with them. I have three grown daughters.  I have also recently become a grandma!  I like to travel and have visited my daughter in Australia twice.   I am an avid reader and can often be found curled up with a good book.
 
I love to teach.  When I look at my students, I see God's children and unlimited possibilities.
