In this chapter we are learning about properties of matter.

Below are the vocabulary words:

wstates of matter: the three states of matter are solids, liquids, and gases

wproperty: something about an object that you can observe with your senses

wliquid: matter that does not have its own shape

wgas: matter that always fills the space in a container

wsolid: matter that has its own shape and takes up space

wmass: how much matter an object has

wmixture: something made up of two of more things that do not change
